Our Passion for Izu Wine

We aim to deliver wines that tell the story of Izu. Twenty years have passed since our founder, Tsutomu Shita, first dreamed ofmaking wine in his beloved hometown of Izu. Despite the challenges of a region prone to heavy rainfall and typhoons, we have persevered through trial and error, and are finally realizing our vision of winemaking.

Together, the entire staff of Nakaizu Winery is committed to creating "Izu Wine." We cultivate grapes in the unique terroir of Izu, nurturing them with care and hand-harvesting each bunch. Our winemaking team is constantly striving to capture the essence ofIzu and produce wines of the highest quality. Our sales team is dedicated to sharing the story of our wines with visitors, suggestingfood pairings, and creating culinary experiences that bring the taste of Izu to their tables.

At Nakaizu Winery, we aspire to create wines that evoke the climate, people, and passion of the Izu region with every sip.
