Event Details

This is our first collaboration project with the Moonlight Observatory in Kannami Town.

We will invite a lecturer, a professional astronomy observer, to guide you through the world of stars.

Why not try stargazing through a telescope on the terrace of Nakaizu Winery Chateau TS, surrounded by nature?

An instructor will explain the world of stars in an indoor facility.

Learn about the world of stars while watching the images on the screen.

■From 8:00 PM: Stargazing through a telescope

Go outside and take a look through a telescope!

Please prepare multiple telescopes.

Both children and adults can enjoy the starry sky seen through the telescope.

Introducing Moonlight Observatory

The International Cultural Friendship Association was established in 1961 as a foundation approved by the Ministry of Education.
Its purpose is, as its English name (International Foundation for Cultural Harmony) suggests, "an international foundation aiming for cultural harmony."
In addition to planning international youth exchange projects, we are also promoting "youth development through astronomy."
I believe that a space without borders, that is, astronomy education, is the spirit shared by all human beings living on one Earth, and is the key to human harmony.
The observatory is open to the public, and the facility aims to carry out a wide range of astronomical observations and education, including compiling materials such as the "Sun, Moon, and Star Calendar."
