On May 27, 2022 (Friday), the Nakaizu Ambassador (* 1) appointment ceremony was held, and Ritsuko Shimada (* 2) , a talent and sake stylist, was appointed as the second ambassador.

In the first part of the appointment ceremony, Nakaizu Winery owner Kenichi Shida presented the appointment letter. The owner, Shita, said, “ We have a history of 30 years since we started growing grapes, but the reality is that the world is still not aware of it. Our company is not only a winery, but also a resort hotel, and we would like you to experience the charm of a winery that you can actually come and enjoy.I definitely want Mr. Shimada to be attractive to many people. I want you to tell me."

Ritsuko Shimada, who was appointed as an ambassador, said, "I usually do PR activities for sake, but I feel that sake and wine can get along better.In recent years, the level of Japanese wine has been very high, and overseas. Visiting this land and experiencing it first-hand, listening to Chairman Shida's words, I was able to once again feel the wonders of Japanese wineries and wines and the amazingness of Japanese people. I was able to take pride in being Japanese.I will continue to study hard and work so that I can tell more people.”

In the second part, we invited Yasuyuki Kitahara (* 3) , who is the head sommelier at Conrad Tokyo, who was appointed as the first Nakaizu Ambassador in 2021, and a dinner party was held while enjoying Izu wine.
