We are pleased to announce that our red wine, Izu Petit Verdot 2021, has won Gold at the Washu Awards 2024 held in Hong Kong.
Please take this opportunity to pick up a bottle and enjoy the elegant taste nurtured by the bounty of Izu.

When it comes to our white wines, many people think of Chardonnay or Shinano Riesling, but we must not forget Sauvignon Blanc.
The Sauvignon Blanc variety is a special one for Nakaizu Winery, as it has brought us much knowledge and growth.
It had long been said that it was "not suitable for this region," but after 20 years of trial and error, it was commercialized as a single-variety wine in 2021.
It is one of the varieties that continues to evolve.

Among the many wines produced by Nakaizu Winery, Izu Merlot is a particularly well-balanced red wine. This red wine can be enjoyed by people who usually drink white wine but not so much red wine, or those who don't like the strong tannins typical of red wine. The unique aroma, mild acidity, and tannins of Izu Merlot, which are not found in Merlots produced overseas, make it a great choice for people of all ages and genders, even those trying red wine for the first time.

Did you know that there is a town called Kawazu at the bottom of the Izu Peninsula, where a festival called the Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival is held every year?
Approximately 850 cherry trees bloom along the Kawazu River, and many street stalls are set up during the festival, so it is crowded with many tourists every year.
This introduction has been quite long, but today I would like to introduce Kyoho Rosé , a cherry blossom-colored wine that is just as beautiful as the Kawazu cherry blossoms. I hope you will be interested in this fruity wine that has a fresh fruity flavor that is different from wine grapes.
