Product description

This rosé wine is made with Kyoho grapes from Yamanashi Prefecture. Kyoho grapes originally grew in Izu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, but Yamanashi Prefecture became the ideal location due to its climatic conditions, particularly the temperature difference between day and night. This is a sweet, fruity wine with a beautiful rosé color and an elegant aroma.

Delivery Information: Summer Season Request

We strongly recommend using refrigerated delivery to maintain the freshness of your product.

Thank you very much for always using our store.

During the hot summer months ( approximately June to September ), we strongly recommend using refrigerated shipping to maintain the quality of your wine.

Wine is a drink that is very sensitive to temperature changes. If it is stored in an environment above 25°C for a long period of time, the heat can cause it to lose its flavor, leak, or oxidize.

By using our refrigerated delivery service, we can keep your wine at the optimum temperature until it reaches you, allowing you to enjoy its original flavor.

How to use refrigerated delivery

If you select standard shipping

If you choose standard shipping, we may not be able to offer a refund or exchange for wine that has deteriorated in quality due to temperature changes during shipping. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in order to protect your valuable wine.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Frequently asked questions

If the front label says "Izu Wine," it means that "the grapes used to make the wine were grown and harvested in the Izu region, " and " the wine was brewed using those grapes at a winery in the Izu region ."

In other words, wine labeled "Izu wine" is made primarily from grapes grown in Izu and is produced in Izu, truly expressing the "climate of Izu."

* When displaying a place name (such as "Izu Wine"), at least 85% of the grapes used must be harvested within the area indicated by that place name.

At Nakaizu Winery, we define "sweet" and "dry" wines as follows:

Sweet:

This type of wine has a rich sweetness that spreads throughout the mouth and continues to have a voluminous sweetness until the finish . For example, "Izu Extra Sweet" and "Sparkling Wine Sweet" have a distinct sweetness.

Neutral :

It has a neutral positioning, with a "modest sweetness (hard to detect)." It has almost no sweetness in terms of sugar content, giving it a refreshing impression.

Dry :

This wine has a drier impression . Rather than being "dry," it has a nuance of being " crisp " or " clean in the mouth ." After drinking it, you may feel a refreshing, light dryness in your mouth.

The "body" of a wine refers to the strength, weight, and satisfying taste of the wine . It also includes what sommeliers call the "texture," or the " feel " when you put it in your mouth.

Light Body:

It's light and easy to drink.

Full Body:

This type of sake has a rich flavor and is satisfying to drink. It tends to have a complex flavor with strong tastes in the mouth, such as astringency and acidity.
